STUDIO VISITS

I dye my textiles and papers out of a 70-year-old building in the heart of the Dodge-Flower neighborhood of Tucson, Arizona.

The studio has evolved from life as a garage used for welding in my best friend’s backyard to a sweet two-room space that we specially equipped for running a small dye practice. Always evolving, the dye studio features a built-in cooktop, a huge cutting table, ample space for spreading out projects, and lots of room to store lovingly harvested dye plants.

I share the space with interdisciplinary artist and poet, Elaine Greenwood. Here, Elaine and I dream up and cultivate a world of beauty, visually and in verse.
