Hand dyed silk scarf colored through natural materials that I collect on my walks near my studio in Tucson, Arizona. Each of my silk scarves is lovingly dyed using non-native and/or invasive species using the sustainable dye practices that I’ve developed for my studio.
Whether you tie your scarf or add a wooden scarf pearl, a silk scarf allows you to express your personality through color and keeps your neck warm too.

While lovely, silk itself is not considered a sustainable fiber. That said, with proper care silk will last a lifetime. I practice sustainability in my dye studio by using invasive and ornamental plants that produce color during multiple rounds of dyeing, collecting all water run-off for use in my garden, and ensuring that no silk goes to waste.
CARE
With proper care, your silk scarf will last for years and years. Always store your naturally dyed silk in a dark and dry place, away from sunlight. Hand-wash a drop of with pH neutral dish soap. Iron flat on the silk setting. A care card comes with each scarf for your convenience.
